Alja Fabjan is an integrative psychotherapist, with a certificate from the International Association for Integrative Psychotherapy and many years of experience in the field of individual, partner and family psychotherapy. She devotes a lot of time to further education in the field of psychotherapy; she is currently completing her doctoral studies in Marital and Family Therapy and her studies in supervision. She help her clients with all sorts of problems, including dealing with physical and autoimmune diseases. Because physical and mental health are strongly linked, autoimmune diseases can also be of psychosomatic origin, thus arising as a result of past and present psychological distress and problems. Psychotherapeutic treatment thus illuminates and resolves the background of the psychological impact on the disease, helps to accept the disease, to adapt more quickly to the changes associated with it, and leads to a reduction in symptoms.
