Doc. dr. Gregor Zemljič, MD is a specialist in cardiology and vascular and internal medicine. He has many years of experience in the treatment of cardiovascular disease, and is deeply dedicated to the treatment of patients with advanced heart failure and coronary heart disease. In addition to his regular work, he also devotes a lot of time to scientific research. He is active in the field of regenerative cardiology, new methods of treating heart failure and infiltrative heart disease. In 2018, he received his PhD in biomedical sciences from the field of stem cell heart failure treatment. Since 2019, he has been working as a teacher with the title of assistant professor at the Medical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana.
