Klavdija Blažič is a specialist in gestalt therapy. Wholeheartedly she offers a confidential and safe space for the therapeutic treatment of various hardships, dilemmas and problems, which can be emotional, psychosomatic (physical) or relational (in relationships). In her work, she derives from the paradoxical theory of change, which states that change occurs when an individual becomes what he is, and not when he strives to become what he is not. Namely, change does not happen because of effort, coercion, persuasion, insight, interpretation or anything like that, but when an individual at least for a short time abandons the idea of what he would like to become and is simply with what he is. Therefore, in a therapeutic relationship, she pays special attention to experiencing the “here and now” and to the contact (how much one is aware of their own emotions, needs, desires, environment). Thus, based on dialogue, awareness and new experiences in therapy, it naturally promotes growth and development in personal or professional life. As a member of the Slovenian Association for Gestalt Psychotherapy SLOGES, she is committed to the code of ethics and works under regular supervision as part of obtaining the European Diploma in Psychotherapy at the GITA Institute for Gestalt Therapy.
As a certified HRV coach, she also focuses on the field of prevention and elimination of burnout and strengthening the individual’s resilience. Emotions, self-image and patterns in interpersonal relationships have a proven impact on our health or immune system. For this purpose she also performs heart rate variability measurements and interpretations (www.heart-vibe.com).
