Ana Stepančič completed her master’s degree in dietetics at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Health Sciences. She completed the professional exam in health care and is completing the program of pedagogical andragogical education at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Education. She gained experience in a retirement home, where she planned and composed diets for various medical conditions and diseases such as type 2 diabetes, gastrointestinal and urinary diseases, cardiovascular diseases, swallowing disorders and others. She provided individual nutrition treatment and counseling for various age groups at the Health Center in the Center for Health Promotion. She has also led health education workshops such as Family Treatment for Obesity, Healthy Weight Loss, Healthy Eating, Healthy Eating for Pregnant Women and other healthy lifestyle workshops. She participated in the national project for the treatment of overweight children and adolescents Moj Izziv. She performs her work enthusiastically, accurately and responsibly, with her empathy and the establishment of a genuine interpersonal relationship, she contributes to lifestyle changes and motivation to achieve the set goals.
